Window Cleaning with Super Pure Water!
Water fed pole or WFP window cleaning at it’s simplest is the use of carbon fibre or glass fibre poles with a specialist brush containing water jets, on the end of the pole, used to scrub and polish windows with the aid of pure water.
We use one of the most up to date versions of the water filtration or ‘reverse osmosis’ systems to produce our own water which we bring with us.
isn’t clean enough!
For example, tap water in the Moray and Highland regions can contain up to 600 parts per million of contaminants such as chlorine, potassium, viruses, bacteria and other substances. The water used in our water fed pole system is filtered using a process known as ‘reverse osmosis’ and achieves a contaminant level down as far as 0 – yes ZERO parts per million
How does it work?
The filtration process creates a water so pure that it naturally attracts dirt and dust particles. We use this to our advantage by thoroughly scrubbing the window and the frame too while applying the pure water. This lifts the dirt and other contaminants into the pure water which we then rinse away.
Is it better than using the traditional scrim and blade method?
Yes, for FOUR main reasons…
1. We always clean the whole window – the frame, the glass as well as the sill.
2. The Windows stay cleaner longer
3. We don’t have to use ladders, so less risk of accidents.
4. We can reach heights well beyond those permitted by health and safety constraints for ladders – right up to about 70 – 80 feet!
